Ok, so I'm chilling in rome, not really doing much when I see this car parked in what we in America would think is an impossible spot... We would see it and never even consider putting our car within that space, no matter how small the car is, but behold, here they just shove cars wherever there is four feet of open pavement. Anyways, I just love seeing cars parked like this so I thought I should share the awesome parking skills these Italian drivers have.
Anyways, I thought I would take some time to share some pictures of some of the amazing places we have been to as a group so far. Some of my favorite pictures so far have been taken at night. Let me just say, Rome is beautiful at night. Many of the tourists have tucked themselves in closer to their hotels so that means that places like the Coliseum and the Spanish steps are not so overrun with people and you feel a little more like a local than a tourist. I have to say, if you want to go to the Coliseum, which is an absolute must, go at night, before you plan on doing the tour, and just take it in in a more peaceful setting. Same thing goes for St Peters, if you go at night it is beautifully lit up and hardly anyone is there. Seriously my favorite moments of this trip are when we explore at night. Anyways, here are some pictures!
Oh on a side note, there are these fountains here that are all over the place that just continually run and it's some of the best water in the city. Its always really cold and fresh and we never have to ration our water! Yup so I included a picture of one of them below.
(just in case anyone is wondering, I did take all of these pictures myself)
